“This hotel is in the middle of ewverything. Not too far from from the river and all that is there and near the city center too. We were able to walk to most places. If you enjoy walking then this is a great place. If not, the bus "dot" comes right by the hotel.“

“The DeSoto is in the very heart of the historic district. It is probably the best location if you don't want to rent a car. Everything is in equal walking distance, Forsythe Park to the River front and City Market. Everything around the hotel is very picturesque, very eye pleasing.“

“My husband and I visited Savannah for my 50th birthday. I really wanted something with the charm of Savannah's historic district, but preferred a full service hotel instead of a B&B. We were not disappointed with the DeSoto.“
